I provide therapy for individuals and couples, offering a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, be heard, and work toward the changes you want most. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs — because no two people or relationships are exactly the same.
In couples therapy, I help partners who are feeling distant, stuck in the same arguments, or unsure how to get back to the closeness they once had. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-backed approach that helps partners understand and respond to each other’s emotional needs, we work together to break free from patterns of conflict or withdrawal. Over time, couples learn to communicate in ways that feel safe and supportive, rebuild trust, and deepen intimacy. Whether you’re dating, engaged, married, or in a long-term partnership, couples therapy can help you feel more secure and connected in your relationship.
I also work with individuals who are facing challenges such as anxiety, disordered eating, burnout, trauma, or major life transitions. When trauma is part of your story — whether from a single event or ongoing experiences — I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you process what happened, reduce the emotional intensity, and create space for healing. In all individual work, therapy provides a place to explore what’s weighing on you, uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools for moving forward. Together, we focus on building self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and cultivating greater self-compassion so you can feel more confident and grounded in your daily life.
Another area of my work is supporting people living with type 1 diabetes. As someone who lives with type 1 myself, I understand the unique mental and emotional demands that come with this condition — the constant decision-making, unpredictability, and the way it can affect every aspect of life. I help clients process the stress, burnout, and grief that can come with diabetes, while also finding ways to reclaim joy, resilience, and a sense of control.
Whether we are working on strengthening your relationship, easing the weight of anxiety, supporting recovery from disordered eating, processing trauma through EMDR, or navigating the emotional side of living with diabetes, my goal is always the same: to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you move toward a life that feels more connected and fulfilling.
